‘Space Mutation’ (太空异种) is a 2026 Chinese sci-fi thriller directed by Zhu Lingfeng.
The film follows a space mining crew whose rescue of stranded survivors after a major discovery exposes them to a dangerous unknown threat. The cast includes Wei Lu, Lin Yanrou, Liu Yang, Wang Ming, and An Zehao.
Synopsis: In the future, a deep-space mining crew strikes it rich harvesting rare material near the remnants of an ancient supernova. But simmering disputes over profit erupt just as they answer a mysterious distress call and rescue two survivors from another ship.
