‘The Gorals’ (산양들) is a 2026 South Korean coming-of-age drama co-written and directed by Yoo Jae-Wook.
The film follows four isolated high school girls who join forces to save the animals in their school’s enclosure after discovering they are to be culled. The cast includes Park Hye-Jin, Lee Seung-Yeon, Park Hyo-Eun, Choi Soo-In, and Lee Hyo-Je.
Synopsis: With 200 days remaining until the College Scholastic Ability Test, four high school girls relegated to a special management class spend their days with little hope for the future. When the animals in their school’s enclosure are marked for culling, they set out to return them to the wild, discovering a sense of purpose and belonging beyond the pressures of school.
