‘The Journey to Gyeongju’ (경주기행) is a 2026 South Korean crime drama written and directed by Kim Mi-Jo.
The film follows a mother and her three daughters who travel to Gyeongju eight years after the youngest member of their family was murdered, secretly planning to take revenge on the man responsible. The cast includes Lee Jung-Eun, Gong Hyo-Jin, Park So-Dam, Lee Yeon, and Byun Yo-Han.
Synopsis: Eight years after her youngest daughter Gyeongju was murdered during a school trip, Ok-Sil sets out for Gyeongju with her three surviving daughters. What appears to be a family trip is actually part of a carefully planned act of revenge, with the man responsible for Gyeongju’s death held captive in the back of their van. [© Far East Films]
