‘The Love of Truman’ (트루먼의 사랑) is a 2025 South Korean sci-fi romance written and directed by Kim Duk-Joong.
The film follows a woman who discovers that she can continue moving during mysterious moments when the rest of the world comes to a complete stop. The cast includes Bae Yoo-Ram, Lee Joo-Woo, Kim Shin-Bi, and Kang Jin-A.
Synopsis: Ji-Yeon is a stenographer who has become accustomed to mysterious ‘errors’ that periodically bring the world around her to a complete stop. Unlike everyone else, she remains conscious and able to move, leading her to believe that she is a ‘Truman’ living outside the rules of this strange reality. Her search for others like herself brings her together with Hyun-Sik and Moon-Sung, and the three begin looking for a way out of the world they believe has been constructed around them.
