‘The Ogre’s Bride’ (鬼の花嫁) is a 2026 Japanese fantasy romance directed by Chihiro Ikeda.

Based on the light novel series by Kureha, the film follows a mistreated young woman who is unexpectedly chosen by a powerful demon lord, drawing her into a dangerous supernatural world and an uncertain romance. The cast includes Ren Nagase, Ai Yoshikawa, Kentaro Ito, Rin Kataoka, and Koki Hyodo.

Synopsis: In a world where humans live alongside supernatural beings known as ayakashi, powerful spirits sometimes choose human brides, and being selected by an oni, the strongest among them, is considered a great honour. Yuzu Shinonome has always been overshadowed by her younger sister, who is favoured after becoming the bride of a fox spirit. When Reiya Kiryūin, heir to a powerful oni clan, unexpectedly chooses Yuzu as his bride, her life changes completely.
