‘The Ultimate Duo’ (끝장수사) is a 2026 South Korean crime thriller written and directed by Park Cheol-Hwan.

The film pairs a disgraced detective with a driven rookie as they reopen a closed murder case and search for the real killer amid growing resistance. The cast includes Bae Sung-Woo, Jung Ga-Ram, Esom, Jo Han-Chul, and Yoon Kyung-Ho.

Synopsis: Jae-hyuk, a disgraced detective whose career has unravelled after a major mistake, is paired with Jung-ho, a sharp and ambitious rookie with an unconventional past. Though they struggle to work together, a minor theft in a rural church leads them to uncover a link to a high-profile murder in Seoul, even as the case has already been closed and a suspect arrested. Determined to uncover the truth, they push for a reinvestigation, but resistance from authorities and their own volatile partnership threaten to derail their pursuit of the real culprit.
