‘Wild Nights, Tamed Beasts’ (长夜将尽) is a 2026 Chinese crime drama co-written and directed by Wang Tong.
The film follows a woman living under a false identity whose life becomes entangled with a zoo keeper and a police investigator as a string of deaths comes to light. The cast includes Wan Qian, Rao Xiaozhi, Qu Chuxiao, Huang Xiaolei, Zhao Zichong, and Sun Qingchang.
Synopsis: Caregiver Ye Xiaolin secretly infiltrates the homes of elderly residents with the hidden intention of committing murder, carefully maintaining her disguise while carrying out her plans. Her controlled routine begins to unravel when she crosses paths with Ma Deyong, a zoo keeper whose unexpected presence disrupts the fragile balance she has built around her life. At the same time, police officer Zhou Ping is investigating a series of suspicious cases, and as his search deepens, the paths of all three individuals gradually converge, binding their fates together in a tense and dangerous web.
