Blu-ray release: ‘The Guyver: Dark Hero’

Toy Robot Video will release the 1994 American science fiction tokusatsu superhero film ‘The Guyver: Dark Hero’ on Blu-ray in the UK on September 7, 2026.

Directed by Steve Wang and based on Yoshiki Takaya‘s manga series ‘Bio Booster Armor Guyver’, the film sees Sean Barker once again using the alien Guyver armour as he investigates a mysterious archaeological site linked to the Zoanoids. The cast includes David Hayter, Kathy Christopherson, Bruno Patrick, Christopher Michael, and Stuart Weiss.

Synopsis: Sean Barker is drawn to an archaeological dig in Utah, where he discovers an alien spacecraft containing weapons powerful enough to threaten the entire world. With the Zoanoids also searching for the ship and its secrets, Sean must once again transform into the Guyver and confront the forces determined to claim its power.
