‘V’ (空枪) is a 2026 Chinese-Hong Kong crime drama directed by Han Yan.
Set in the early 1990s, the film follows an ambitious migrant worker whose attempt to make his fortune draws him into increasingly serious crime and a confrontation with a wealthy businessman. The cast includes Zhu Yilong, Tan Jianci, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Michelle Wai, Kara Hui, Selena Lee, Yuen Fu-Wah, Ni Dahong, Cecilia Yip, Huang Jue, and Yu Haoming.
Synopsis: In a city where the promise of sudden wealth has been accompanied by rising crime and disorder, migrant worker Wan Ziqiang is determined to change his fortunes. After meeting flight attendant Luo Jiayuan, the pair carry out a robbery that leaves them with a vast sum of money, but their success only fuels Wan’s ambitions and draws him into a dangerous struggle with wealthy businessman Chen Huiyan. As Mainland police officer Qi Honggang and Hong Kong officer Guan Suchen close in, the two police forces join their investigations to bring Wan to justice. [© Far East Films]
