4K UHD & Blu-ray release: ‘Above the Law’

Toy Robot Video will release the 1988 American action thriller ‘Above the Law’ on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in the UK on November 9, 2026, followed by a US release on November 10.

Directed by Andrew Davis, the film revolves around a Chicago police officer and former Special Operations veteran who uncovers a conspiracy while investigating an international drug ring. The cast includes Steven Seagal, Pam Grier, Henry Silva, Ron Dean, Sharon Stone, and Jack Wallace.

Synopsis: Nico Toscani is investigating an international drug ring when the suspects are unexpectedly released and he is ordered to surrender his badge and gun. Refusing to walk away, Nico discovers that former CIA operatives are trafficking drugs and plotting a political assassination. With his friends and family increasingly at risk, he sets out to expose those responsible.
