4K UHD & Blu-ray release: ‘The Cinema of King Hu: Volume Two’

Imprint Films will release ‘The Cinema of King Hu: Volume Two’ on Limited Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray in Australia on November 25, 2026. The five-film set collects a selection of films featuring the work of King Hu between 1975 and 1983.

The collection includes:

• ‘The Valiant Ones’ (1975)
• ‘Raining in the Mountain’ (1979)
• ‘Legend of the Mountain’ (1979)
• ‘The Wheel of Life’ (1983)
• ‘All the King’s Men’ (1983)

Following on from ‘The Cinema of King Hu: Volume One’, the collection covers the latter part of Hu’s career, ranging from the martial arts action of ‘The Valiant Ones’ and the Buddhist intrigue of ‘Raining in the Mountain’ to the supernatural fantasy of ‘Legend of the Mountain’. It concludes with the anthology film ‘The Wheel of Life’ and the historical comedy ‘All the King’s Men’.
