4K UHD & Blu-ray release: ‘Mortal Kombat II’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release the 2025 American martial arts fantasy action film ‘Mortal Kombat II’ on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in the US on July 28, 2026.
Directed by Simon McQuoid and based on the video game franchise created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, the film follows Earthrealm’s champions as they prepare for the long-awaited Mortal Kombat tournament. The cast includes Karl Urban, Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Tadanobu Asano, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Joe Taslim.
Synopsis: As the forces of Outworld threaten Earthrealm, a new generation of fighters joins familiar champions in a battle for survival. With the Mortal Kombat tournament finally underway, alliances are tested, rivalries are renewed, and warriors from across multiple realms clash in a fight that will determine the fate of their worlds.
