Blu-ray release: ‘Face to Face’

Imprint Asia will release the 2002 Hong Kong–Japanese horror-thriller ‘Face to Face’ (THE SNOW ザ・スノウ) on Limited Edition Blu-ray in Australia on June 24, 2026.
Directed by Casey Chan and adapted from a novel by Edogawa Rampo, the film follows a wealthy Chinese student whose marriage is torn apart by an affair between his wife and closest friend. The cast includes Stephen Fung, Misaki Ito, Natsuo Ishido, Shosuke Tanihara, and Tadao Sawamoto.
Synopsis: Tamotsu, a wealthy Chinese student living in Japan, shares his home with his closest friend Yoshio. When the two men meet the beautiful Ruriko, both fall in love with her, but it is Tamotsu who wins her hand in marriage. As Yoshio and Ruriko begin an affair behind his back, Tamotsu is killed during a skiing trip. But when he returns, their betrayal sets in motion a revenge plot with supernatural consequences.
