Blu-ray release: ‘Nana 2’

Discotek Media will release the 2006 Japanese drama ‘Nana 2’ (ナナ2) on US Blu-ray on June 30, 2026.
Based on the manga by Ai Yazawa and directed by Kentaro Otani, the film continues the story of two young women sharing the same name as they navigate love, friendship, and the pressures of adulthood in Tokyo. The cast includes Mika Nakashima, Yui Ichikawa, Hiroki Narimiya, Kanata Hongo, and Yuna Ito.
Synopsis: As Nana Osaki’s music career begins to take off, her growing success starts to strain the relationships around her. At the same time, Nana Komatsu struggles to find her place amid shifting friendships and uncertain romance. As their lives move in different directions, both are forced to confront the realities of their choices and what they truly want for the future.
