‘Sakamoto Days’ (サカモトデイズ) is a 2026 Japanese action-comedy directed by Yuichi Fukuda.
Based on Yuto Suzuki’s manga, the film centres on a former contract killer whose quiet home life is shattered when dangerous enemies resurface, pushing him back into action. The cast includes Ren Meguro, Fumiya Takahashi, Aya Ueto, Miyu Yoshimoto, and Yusei Yagi.
Synopsis: Once a legendary assassin feared by all, Taro Sakamoto leaves violence behind for marriage and a quiet life running a small shop, only to be pulled back into danger when a huge bounty makes him the target of killers from around the world. Teaming up with his former protégé, a young psychic named Shin, he must defend his peaceful family life while confronting the deadly past he thought he had escaped. [© Far East Films]
