Theatrical release: ‘We’re Nothing at All’

Trinity CineAsia will release the 2026 Hong Kong crime drama ‘We’re Nothing at All’ (我們不是什麼) in UK and Irish cinemas on May 29, 2026.
Written and directed by Herman Yau, the film follows a retired forensic expert investigating a deadly bus explosion tied to two young men living on the margins of Hong Kong society. The cast includes Patrick Tam Yiu-Man, Anson Kong, Ansonbean, Chu Pak-Him, and Rachel Leung.
Synopsis: On Valentine’s Day, a double-decker bus explodes in a fiery blast, killing several passengers and leaving evidence pointing to a deliberate act by two passengers, Fai and Ike, a gay couple from troubled backgrounds. As retired forensic expert Lung Sir investigates, he uncovers their tragic story of abuse, homophobia, and despair, culminating in their decision to end their lives in protest against an unjust world.
