‘A Man and a Woman’ (一个男人和一个女人) is a 2026 Hong Kong–Chinese romantic drama directed by Guan Hu.
The film follows two strangers who form a quiet connection after a chance encounter, offering each other support as they face personal struggles. The cast includes Huang Bo, Ni Ni, Niki Chow, Lam Suet, Paw Hee-Ching, and Christine Ng.
Synopsis: A man and a woman arrive on the same flight and check into neighbouring rooms in the same hotel, separated by little more than a thin wall that exposes the pressures weighing on their lives. Each is struggling with the burdens of adulthood—health, family, marriage, and financial strain—and finds themselves at a standstill. As their quiet isolation gives way to small, unexpected interactions, the two strangers begin to offer each other moments of kindness and understanding, helping one another regain a sense of balance and discover new strength amid their difficulties.
