Trailer: ‘Free Dogs’

‘Free Dogs’ (길 위의 뭉치) is a 2026 South Korean animated adventure directed by Oh Sung-Yoon and Lee Chun-Baek.

The film is a newly edited and remastered version of 2018’s ‘Underdog’ that follows an abandoned dog who joins a group of strays on a dangerous journey in search of a place where they can live freely. The voice cast includes Do Kyung-Soo, Park So-Dam, Park Chul-Min, Kang Seok, and Lee Jun-Hyuk.

Synopsis: After being abandoned by his owner, a sheltered dog struggles to accept his new life on the streets. Taken in by an experienced stray and his companions, he gradually adapts before meeting a pack of dogs who have escaped from a breeding farm. When their homes are threatened by humans and a ruthless dog hunter, the two groups set out together in search of a remote sanctuary where they can finally be free. [© Far East Films]
