‘Never After Dark’ (ネバーアフターダーク) is a 2026 Japanese horror film written and directed by Dave Boyle.

The film follows two sisters whose investigation into a haunted mansion forces them to confront a dark truth linked to both the restless spirit and their own past. The cast includes Moeka Hoshi, Kurumi Inagaki, Kento Kaku, and Tae Kimura.

Synopsis: Born into a family of spirit mediums, Airi possesses the ability to communicate with the dead and travels the country solving mysterious supernatural cases alongside her older sister Miku, who exists as a spirit following a tragic incident. When they are asked to investigate a mansion haunted by the ghost of a man, they find themselves drawn into a series of increasingly disturbing events. As Airi uncovers clues linked to the restless apparition and the secret hidden within the house, long-buried truths begin to surface, revealing an unexpected connection between the haunting and the sisters themselves.
