‘Revolver Lily’ (リボルバー・リリー) is a 2023 Japanese period action-adventure co-written and directed by Isao Yukisada.
Based on the novel of the same name by Kyo Nagaura, the film centres on a former spy who encounters an orphan holding the key to a hidden fortune. The cast includes Haruka Ayase, Hiroki Hasegawa, Jinsei Hamura, Kavka Shishido, and Kotone Furukawa.
Synopsis: Set in early-20th-century Japan, a legendary former assassin who has withdrawn from the world is forced back into action when she encounters a hunted child whose existence threatens powerful military interests, drawing her into a violent struggle between protecting the innocent and confronting the life she tried to leave behind.
