‘The Living Dragon’ (夢物語 The Living Dragon) is a 2026 Japanese martial arts action anthology film directed by Koichi Sakamoto, Kenji Tanigaki, and Yuji Shimomura.
Produced by and starring Yasuaki Kurata to mark his 60th anniversary as an actor, the film comprises three stories exploring dreams, regret, and the pursuit of strength through characters whose lives are shaped by martial arts and action cinema. The cast includes Yasuaki Kurata, Sammo Hung, Rina Takeda, Masaya Kato, Seiji Takaiwa, and Fumi Taniguchi.
Synopsis: An ageing performer trains for an audition that could offer him another chance to fulfil a lifelong ambition, an insecure office worker enters a dream world where she must confront her fears and discover the meaning of true strength, and an 80-year-old man is transported to Hong Kong in 1973, where he races to deliver modern heart medication to Bruce Lee on the day of his death.
