‘Hideaway: The Dossiers’ (密档) is a 2026 Chinese historical mystery drama directed by Zheng Dasheng.
Set in Japanese-occupied Shanghai in 1942, the film follows an underground Communist Party member and his wife who are entrusted with protecting a collection of secret documents hidden inside a residential building. The cast includes Yuan Hong, Li Yanxi, Shao Feng, Xie Chengying, and Li Xiaochuan.
Synopsis: With Shanghai under occupation, a house at 52 Xiaoshadu Road is secretly being used to conceal a collection of confidential Communist Party files. Surrounded by Japanese and collaborationist forces and unable to know who can be trusted, underground operative Xu Shuting and his wife Shen Yulin are given the dangerous task of protecting the documents, risking their lives to prevent them from falling into enemy hands.
