Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘Back to the Past’

Well Go USA will release the 2025 Hong Kong sci-fi action film ‘Back to the Past’ (尋秦記) on Digital in the US on October 13, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release on November 10, 2026.
Co-directed by Ng Yuen-Fai and Jack Lai, the film follows a Hong Kong police officer living in the Qin Dynasty who is forced back into action when a vengeful inventor travels into the past with plans to seize the throne. The cast includes Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Jessica Hsuan, Sonija Kwok, and Joyce Tang.
Synopsis: Hong Kong officer Hong Siu-Lung vanished into the Qin Dynasty during a failed experiment in 1999. Now living in seclusion with his family, he is forced back into action when the project’s vengeful inventor travels back in time with high-tech weaponry and attempts to usurp the throne. Reuniting with the Emperor after 20 years, Hong must settle an old grudge and prevent the course of history from being changed.
