4K UHD & Blu-ray release: 'Bullet in the Head'

Arrow Video will release the 1990 Hong Kong action crime drama ‘Bullet in the Head’ (喋血街頭) on UK 4K UHD and Blu-ray on June 22, 2026.

Co-written and directed by John Woo, the film charts three friends whose pursuit of wealth in wartime Vietnam spirals into a brutal struggle for survival that tests the limits of their loyalty and friendship. The cast includes Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Jacky Cheung, Waise Lee, Simon Yam, and Yolinda Yan.

Synopsis: Set during the Vietnam War, B, Fai and Wing (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Jacky Cheung and Waise Lee) are three best friends who flee Hong Kong to seek their fortune as smugglers. In Saigon, they join forces with fellow expat Lok (Simon Yam) and double-cross the ruthless gangster Luong to steal his gold and rescue nightclub singer Sau-ching (Yolinda Yan) from his clutches. They must fight their way out of the country in a nightmarish odyssey where each new battle pushes them beyond their limits and threatens to destroy their friendship.
