4K UHD & Blu-ray release: ‘Survive Style 5+’

Third Window Films will release the 2004 Japanese comedy ‘Survive Style 5+’ on Limited Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray in the UK on October 19, 2026. The film will also return to UK cinemas from September 10.

Directed by Gen Sekiguchi, the film tells five interconnected stories involving an unusual collection of characters and increasingly bizarre situations. The cast includes Tadanobu Asano, Reika Hashimoto, Kyoko Koizumi, Hiroshi Abe, Ittoku Kishibe, Yumi Aso, and Vinnie Jones.

Synopsis: After killing and burying his wife, Aman returns home to find her alive and waiting for him. Elsewhere, an advertising executive dreams up increasingly strange commercials, a family man is left believing he is a bird after a hypnosis show goes wrong, and a British hitman travels through Japan with his interpreter. As their separate situations unfold, the characters and stories begin to collide.
