Blu-ray release: ‘Left-Handed Girl’

Deltamac will release the 2025 Taiwanese drama ‘Left-Handed Girl’ (左撇子女孩) on Blu-ray in Taiwan on October 8, 2026.
Directed by Shih-Ching Tsou, the film follows a single mother and her two daughters who move to Taipei, where they attempt to make a living at a night market. The cast includes Janel Tsai, Ma Shih-Yuan, Nina Ye, Brando Huang, and Akio Chen.
Synopsis: After several years living in the countryside, Shu-Fen moves back to Taipei with her daughters, 21-year-old I-Ann and five-year-old I-Jing, hoping to make a new start by running a noodle stall at a night market. While the rebellious I-Ann takes a job as a betel nut seller, I-Jing is told by her grandfather that her left hand is the ‘devil’s hand’ and that she must stop using it. Her belief that her left hand is possessed soon leads to the uncovering of a long-held family secret.
