‘Bayside Shakedown N.E.W.: Run Through the Metropolis!’ (踊る大捜査線 N.E.W. メトロポリスを駆け抜けろ！) is a 2026 Japanese crime drama directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro.

The film is the latest entry in the ‘Bayside Shakedown’ series and follows detective Shunsaku Aoshima as he races across Tokyo after being selected to deliver the ransom in a kidnapping case involving a threat to bomb the city. The cast includes Yuji Oda, Shuri, Jin Shirasu, Kuranosuke Sasaki, and Takahisa Masuda.

Synopsis: A kidnapping known as the ‘225 Incident’ throws Tokyo into crisis when the perpetrator demands that detective Shunsaku Aoshima deliver the ransom, threatening to bomb the city if he fails. At the same time, police face a series of murders involving 3D-printed guns and a threat to release a stolen toxic virus.
