Digital release: ‘Ghost in the Cell’

Blue Finch Film Releasing will release the 2026 Indonesian horror comedy ‘Ghost in the Cell’ on Digital in the UK and Ireland on October 26, 2026.
Written and directed by Joko Anwar, the film follows the inmates of a violent prison who find themselves targeted by a supernatural entity that kills those with the darkest aura. The cast includes Abimana Aryasatya, Bront Palarae, Endy Arfian, Yoga Pratama, Lukman Sardi, and Dimas Danang.
Synopsis: When a new inmate arrives at a high-security prison, a series of gruesome deaths follows in his wake. After discovering that a supernatural entity is targeting whoever possesses the darkest aura, the prisoners begin performing good deeds in an attempt to stay alive. With violence and corruption making that increasingly difficult, rival inmates are eventually forced to work together against the threat.
