Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Unexpected Courage’

Deltamac will release the 2025 Taiwanese drama ‘Unexpected Courage’ (我們意外的勇氣) on Blu-ray and DVD in Taiwan on August 21, 2026.
Directed by Shawn Yu, the film centres on a long-term couple whose relationship is thrown into uncertainty when an unexpected pregnancy forces them to confront their future together. The cast includes Rene Liu, Simon Hsueh, Patty Lee, Wu Nien-Hsuan, and Hans Chung.
Synopsis: Veteran artist manager Le Fu (Rene Liu) and advertising director Po En (Simon Hsueh) have been together for many years. Due to their age gap and family wounds, they are reluctant to discuss what lies ahead for their relationship. On Le Fu’s 45th birthday, she receives the unexpected news that she is pregnant, forcing the couple to confront life-altering changes and difficult decisions for their future.
